Sounds like the Score got a new "Puss voice guy"

The commercial he reads for the "Einstein Bros"...as "BROSE"....I am not sure he knows it is Einstein BROTHERS.

I've always been a Bagels hater. :)

Maybe I've just always had bad bagels. Is Einstein Bros good? Or is just crumbly bread that needs to be smothered with flavored cream cheeses in order to be edible?

I'll hang up and listen.

most bagels are terrible. I've had two good bagels in my life. One in NYC somewhere. Still hot out of the oven. The other in Boulder, CO, of all places.

I heard the commercial through a fair amount of static, driving across Mo yesterday.

I thought it his read was pretty obvious.

So you think his "Brose" is intentional? as in thats how the client wants the Read?

I disagree. These guys have spent some serious money on a Brand name "EINSTEIN BROTHERS" to try and change it to some half witted term of the moment Twitter name would not be part of any decent branding plan.

I've never heard it referred to out loud as "Einstein Bros." Reminds me of the Lady Jane's commercial on the Score where they pronounced "Avenue" as "Av."

So when I call EINSTEIN BROS

Will they Answer "EINSTEIN BROSE' or "EINSTEIN BROTHERS"

I will guess BROTHERS

A bagel really is little more than a conduit for cream cheese and lox.

And when they asked "how can I help you, " did you reply, "Oh thanks, love, you have already helped me enough. I was merely calling to see how you would answer the phone so I could settle an internet argument. I won. Thanks!"

I called her, D'nita, not Love.

Is this the same clown who reads the Jiffy Lube spot emphasizing that they do "preventnative" maintenance services as well as oil changes? I want to go all Matt-In-The-Crown on that guy...

You've never even had a bagel unless it's made with New York wooter!

Or a Philly cheesesteak unless the roll is made with Philly water.

NYC Bagel Deli (Wacker and Jackson) is pretty good for bagels.

Einstein's is horrible.

Kaufman's, which is located on Dempster St. west of Skokie Blvd. has pretty good Bagels.

The best place for Bagels in the metropolitan area is New York Bagel and Bialy, with locations on Dempster St. (east of Crawford) in Skokie and Touhy Avenue (east of 94) in Lincolnwood.
