They way he delivered that line could not have been more perfect.

Multiple people had his same viewpoint yet you used the low hanging fruit to go after him. I dont think anyone said to throw a beer bottle at her. In fact many people in the thread suggested that there was a large difference between supporting your family/friend and celebrating teenage pregnancy.

I'm not trying to be a White Knight here, I dont know Mike, he could be the biggest asshole in a state full of assholes already . I think there is a line between posting ball busting jokes about divulged personal info and using it as a weapon against people. That's all...

Maybe the family doesn't have a lot of money, and whatever she gets from appearing on the show will really help. Who knows? I don't think there is anybody that thinks a fifteen year old is ready to be a mother, but the fact is she is pregnant, and those that care about her are supporting her.

I really don't have a lot of interest in stories like this. I have my own life to worry about. I only know about this, because it got posted here, and the cavemen came out to shame her.



Fair enough, but your post read like the ones from SomeGuy and others, where they try to read me the riot act, and shame me for blasting somebody's stupid opinion. I have read those posts several times, and I disregard them every time. For some reason, people think I care about what others think of me. I'm going to do what I do, whether it is popular or not, white knights be damned.



It's pretty simple really. If you don't want somebody to talk about something, don't share it with the class. There are several things in my personal life that I wouldn't want discussed on the board, so I keep them to myself. The only reason that I know that Chas is a taker, is because he told us. The only reason that I know Mike cheats on his wife, is because he told us.

The Cheever Letters episode was something. I really wish they would have referenced that later in the series. That storyline was just abandoned after that episode.
