Let's hope that the Hawks don't dog it in St. Paul like they have here. If they give it 100%, they'll just smear the Wild.

He was also injured for a while, having aggravated injuries from last year's playoffs. I think he even made some comments recently to the effect of "I can't play like that all year or I'll run out of gas." Fair enough.

I'm sure there are contractual reasons for it, but it still seems so goofy to bring back Andy Masur and have him do hockey while Judd Sirott does baseball. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Yeah, we're learning that the "Suter/Brodin ultimate shutdown pairing" strategy doesn't work when Brodin is shitting it up. Spurgeon #2 in TOI, woof.

We may not see Bolig again this series. I wish the same for Versteeg.

Highly unlikely that Q will give Morin and Nordstrom that much rope. I'll cry no tears if we don't see Bollig again (though we might need his tenacity against the OHHH OHHH SO BIG Los Angeles Kings), but I still believe that Versteeg can contribute, low hockey IQ notwithstanding. Nordstrom has been a non-entity to me.

Nordstrom Versteeg and Sharp have been nothings so far this post season.
At least Sharp has potential.

I think Nordstrom has a decent ceiling ahead of him, but this may not be the right time for a solid game-managing fourth-liner. Sure would be nice if our internal-development-intensive organization could get the Rockford team into the goddamn playoffs every now and then.

I kinda dig Nordstrom. He's not anything special right now, but they're not asking a lot of him, despite it being the playoffs. He's been around the puck, pretty decent defensively, and making the most of minimal minutes. Q's apparently soured on Bollig and Versteeg is still swimming in the murky pools of Bad.

No surprise seeing Leddy sit. Brookbank deserves another start after impressive fill-in for Seabrook.

Bad penalties appear to be the theme of the Blackhawks 2014 Post-Season. Sit your collared ass down, Hammer.

It doesn't bother me one bit, I just didn't see that one coming.

I thought last season Leddy was one of the most improved players on the team. Seemed like he gained confidence, and wasn't so derpy handling the puck. This season, he seemed to have regressed.

He's still only 23. Gotta long way to go so I'm not too worried.

This is the Wild's pace. Lulling teams to sleep with their boring brand of hockey.

Hawks endure this first and not give the Wild a big head start, I think they'll pull away late, as is typical.

Would you ever put leddy with Keith or Seabrook?
