This album is the debut album. I assume the single you're referring to is either "It's About Time" or "Mind Over Matter", off of the new album.

I like both albums, but prefer the first one.

nowadays i kind of find myself facepalming at the all-too-inevitable jungle/mumble rhyme. not quite girl/world in terms of all time bad, but it's up there. and yeah.... shit was the boymerang remix the decent one?

oh and i think aphex is getting off of his ass to do something with die antwoord. that just kind of hurts... kind of like this beat on the original mix of krs one + goldie. jesus christ man people in the comments blowing saturnz returns? but then again i can look up photek videos and find the imbeciles talking about how great that ginger was... =D

yeah but does that really count? back then with his roni size / reprazent "live band" thing (a pretty good live show IIRC, but then again i had to be reminded that i saw grooverider back in the day. i tend to forget these things) the dude was str8up doing remixes of janet jackson tracks to get noticed.

the closest thing i could come up with (other than that adamF/redman thing from 2002 which i now remember my old friend tim was telling me all about, prolly right around the time i saw adam F do ~2hrs at a club called sin sin in lower manhattan back in 07) is there seems to be a proper roni size + method man collaberation from the year 2000.

and since i can't jam too many URLs in that one message, welp, if aphex twin were to do a rap song with somebody back-in-the-day-redman levels of good.... yes it could possibly be a seismic event. just listen to how much fun he had fucking with this german rap group called krieger on a cut.

it's hard for me to listen to this one in public cuz i can't stop laughing at how hard he (inadvertantly?) clowned the rappers there. i suppose it'd be all the more poignant if i actually had any idea what they were saying.
