Thanks. Plot holes don't require deus ex machina.

In the Seinfeld episode where Puddy paints his face, Elaine asks him how long he has been a Devils' fan. Puddy says he is from Jersey, and has been a Devils' fan since he was a kid. The episode aired in May of 1995, and the New Jersey Devils didn't exist until 1982.

Coyotes can reach speeds exceeding forty mph, while roadrunners can run at 15-20 mph at top speed.

Why couldn't Wile E. Coyote catch that damn bird?

In the scene in Cashback in which Hayley-Marie Coppin shows full frontal nudity, there looks to be small scar near her bikini line. In the next shot it is gone.

She wouldn't have had enough time to have had plastic surgery and return for the next shot with the scar now gone.

How did the cops miss the murder weapon when they searched Rusty's house in Presumed Innocent?
It was in the goddamn toolbox. They were looking for exactly that kind of weapon.

Probably boderline here, and perhaps not a plot hole:

Jason Bourne is able to travel internationally despite being a much publicized wanted man. The films show him using various CIA-created aliases, but you would think the agency would've included those aliases in their distributed watch lists.

THis isnt a plot hole, but this thread reminded me of the clue to who the killer is in the original Scream

When guy from Hackers mocks the one dude by saying "Ill be right baaaaaaaacccckk" he goes to the garage to get a beer. Rose McGowen was dead hanging inside the garage door. He comes back with beers and says nothing.

Well, it might depend on what age Puddy was supposed to be & how liberal you would use the word "kid". Patrick Warburton would've been 18 in 1982 (according to Wikipedia), so if Puddy was supposed to be ~ the same age, then that's a very liberal use of the word, but yeah, you could say that an 18 y.o. is still a "kid".

I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade this weekend.

Dark Knight Rises:

Batman has Catwoman blow a hole in the blockage to the tunnel to allow people to flee, but tells Robin to flee across the bridge. Why wouldn't he tell everyone to get out through the tunnel?

Also, the atom bomb was going to detonate because it became unstable - not because it was an actual time bomb. Yet, there on the fucking bomb is a timer. On top of that, if its so unstable, how the hell does it survive a horrible crash, being yanked from a container, dragged down the street, and carried through a burning building without exploding?

Wayne Enterprises gets looted and the bad guys are driving all over town in a bunch of camo batmobiles, yet no one in Gotham still knows who the fuck Batman is at the end of the movie? Further, if they don't know Batman is Bruce Wayne, how the fuck do they know Bruce Wayne is dead in the first place? This is a guy who disappears for long stretches of time his entire life, but as soon as Batman is blown up by a bomb, they a having a funeral and settling his will.

Yep! That totally blew the whole movie for me. How the hell could Andy Dufresne have escaped if his friend Red couldn't have known what Bohemian-style beer was. Not only a plot hole, but DB worthy!

I believe this was the tipping point that gave Forrest Gump the Oscar that year.

In Independence Day, when Vivica Fox and the weird lookin kid and the dog escaped the fireball in the tunnel by jumping into that thing in the wall... they would have suffocated. The fireball would have used up all the oxygen and they'd be... um, dead. So that should have happened.

So in Alien Resurrection Sigourney Weaver is half alien and she bleeds acidic blood. She escapes some lock down room by bleeding on some control wiring.
When She's ragging is she leaving trails of burning holes everywhere? I mean your standard Tampax isn't handling this problem.

How did Alice know that Will Munny's wife was dead? She didn't know him.

This was a bigger problem to you than Jeff Goldbloom connecting to an alien computer system with a fucking macbook?

No. Yes. No. That's a problem. Wouldn't he have to have had knowledge of their operating system? And how the hell could they have had security holes I mean they're an advanced alien race!

I'm thinking simple compatibility issues. You mean to tell me that a vehicle capable of space travel has the same OS as a 1996 Macintosh?

I noticed a continuity error the other day.

Was watching Red Dragon(Liked it the first time as Manhunter) when the gunfight goes down at the end Graham has a revolver but when his wife picks it up to finish the Tooth Fairy it is an automatic.

Uncle buck is a multiple felon. Several cases of assault, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping... he should be in fucking jail.

I don't know where I read it, but there actually is a halfway decent answer to this. I hope it wasn't this board that I'm stealing this from.

Earlier in the movie, they basically say that most of our modern technology is based on the alien spacecraft we had. Therefore, we'd have the ability to interface with them because we spent decades reverse engineering it so it's the same general ecosystem.

Basically, the aliens invented the macbook and we stole it.

Perhaps, but he never checked the box indicating that he agreed to the aliens terms and conditions to use their wifi connection.

How did Andy Dufresne put the poster back up?

In return of the Jedi, Luke asks Leia about her mom and she describes her but her mom died during child birth.
