I find myself hoping the Bears select Calvin Pryor. Adding another safety who lacks coverage instincts to the Bears collection of vomit is a dream come true.

Nope. Mosely, Gilbert, Dennard, Ebron or Bridgewater would all be great selections. But I have faith Emery will find a way to screw it up.

If this is the pick I might as well take Friday and next week off. I'll need time to post.

Looking at last year's draft I find it interesting Khaseem Greene name has been totally absent from any discussion regarding the linebacker battle. Pretty concerning that a 4th round pick isn't even in the conversation.

Were you expecting him to supplant Lance Briggs this year?

A 34-year fat linebacker with a bum shoulder? Yea, I'd like to hear he could give him a challenge.

Since you are a Packer fan, I have faith that nothing you say around here should be given any consideration.

Speaking of the Packers…..Bob McGinn, who covers them for the Sentinel, has them trading back with the Niners to 30 and getting an extra 2 and 3rd rounder.

I would be happy with that.

This whole thing has the drama of a large power ball jackpot. People buy a few tickets and get all excited for the drawing. After we get the money shot, you tear up your losing tickets and move onto something else with the inevitable feeling of wanting.

It's a painful experience as a Bears fan. But it's usually a safe bet that you can bitch about a pick and be correct.

Rumors of Ryan Mallett being traded to the Texans from the Pats. Could open the door for the Pats taking a QB in RD1.

Add to that trade, there was a rumor of the Bucanners trading Glennon to the Patriots.

If he's there you really have to question the Cutler contract even more. It really looks like he will be there too.

I'm not going to complain too much, because I know I'll get the "well, who would you have drafted?" question, but if you are the Rams, who clearly have multiple holes, why are you drafting a guy who you are going to be playing at offensive guard when the season begins?

They said if the Bills draft a receiver, possibly Stevie Johnson could be on the move.

Now that the Bears don't need a receiver it doesn't really matter.

For a guy who spit a mad game on the field, Ray Lewis is absolutely horrible on TV.
