Oh and speaking of Economic Principles, this book is making waves:

CAPITAL IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY, by Thomas Piketty


I may give it a read. The book talks about the concentration of wealth and the rising income gap. It has created significant debate. There are a few Amazon reviews that really explain the theory in the book.

As a big time Libertarian and believer in the free market, I am infinitely disturbed by the wealth gap. A rising tide should lift all boats, and I am willing to explore other view points. I continue to believe educational opportunities and cultural factors are the main reasons for the rising gap. Still, it is something we all need to be concerned about.
