I think that is completely reasonable.

I am willing to be patient this year. But starting next year some results need to be seen. If that does not happen then everyone needs to follow the pasta plan.

And no doubt anything less than a WS win will be unacceptable and seen as a failure. And I am sure Theo realizes this as well.

I don't know if I blame Theo specifically, but he took the job. Someone has to wear it. He's gonna be taking the bows if the "core four" come up and lead the Cubs to contention. (I know Inquistors like to post Bryant's homer totals when things are going well. They don't really post about Baez hitting a buck fifty in the PCL.) He has to take the hit for the losing over several years whether it's really Ricketts behind it or not.

The Cubs backup catcher was one of their best hitters last season,so of course they let him go. Kendrys Morales and other "pro hitters" are available every season. IF Epstein had chosen,he could have sprinkled a few (3 or 4) actual MLB players in these lineups without dipping too far in the budget. Ricketts is a dummy who probably just nods his head a lot when Epstein speaks in meetings.

I don't like Ricketts, personally. He is a silver spoon who seems to be in way over his head, and the Cubs are suffering for it. He wasn't fully aware of the financial situation when he purchased the team as Mr. Fan Boy. Beyond that, he is cheesy and awkward.

No one is forcing bigfan to buy tickets. Given I am still in 70,000s on season ticket waiting list there seems like plenty of people are still interested in watching baseball on the Northside.

I would just like you to focus your anger and incessant diatribes on your own shitty fans and shittier business management. A beautiful weekend and 2 of 3 nights the Sox couldn't break 20K because Jerry has his taxpayer cake and wants to eat it too by soaking fans for $45 bleacher tickets.

I mean nothing says wanting to win the World Series than Hector Noesi, Felipe Paulino, John Danks etc. You're more pissed about what Ricketts is doing while the shucksters running the Sox have had the same number of playoffs appearances since 2008.
