this has been going on for years with dude. something to do with kids and his most recent wife and money. I thought maybe the kids were in the wrong on this, last I read about it. Johnny B had Kasem's daughter on. Apparently the step mom is pretty crazy and intent on keeping Kasem away from his kids. Really sad stuff. Brandmeier gave her a ton of air time and he said he was good friends with Casey.

i saw some later season Family Ties last night where one of the their (rowdy, of course) relatives come to visit, the dad was some character actor from every sitcom ever made and the kid was Chunk from the goonies
