Everyone says that Toews is the man, and someone said here that he'll have a statue in front of the UC someday, and he probably will, but Kane is the hero of this team. He has been thru the two championship runs and he will be. Dude is just sick.

The are both the man IMO. They both do different things for the team.

We are lucky to be able to watch such great players in their primes.

I reaffirm my previous suggestion to remove the 'A' from Sharp and put it on 88.

They're a more equally skilled MJeff and Pippen

The statue will be both of them arms raised, facing each other as if a goal was just scored. Looking at each other romantically.

You ever watch the youtube stuff of them? It's how it should be. There isn't one without the other in a way.

Kane is the woman in the relationship, btw.

Don't deny Kane's statue of two mediocre skanks.

What about Tony Esposito with a Binny's shopping cart?

Gotta like their chances against Los Angeles. Anaheim, much less so. They've hung tough with the Ducks in three games this year, but lost all three last year, and the Ducks could be riding something special with John Gibson in net. I'll happily take the Kings with 14 games of tread and a dump-and-chase that's proven to fail against the Hawks' personnel. I know the numbers say Anaheim overachieved this year. I don't believe it.

I'll take the Stanley Cup champs going up against a rookie goalie anytime.

Normally I would too, but John McDonough gave the Hawks the Cubs' old inability to score on rookies. Also, Gibson isn't just any rookie. He's been one of the most heralded goaltending prospects in years, for years.

Fuck the Wild & their fans. I began to quickly dislike them in this series. The Crawwwwwford chant is dumb, their Organist is terrible, the Wild wear green unis at home but the fans wear red, & the Wilds neutral zone trap style of Hockey is boring as hell. This could become quite a rivalry though because the Wild have some great young skilled players & they might be real good if they find a Goalie.

The Wild's uniform policy is to wear red with green sleeves for local telecasts and all green for national telecasts.

Yeah, I don't get it, either.

But yeah, they're going to be a shit-ton of trouble down the road, maybe more so than St. Louis. There's an embarrassment of riches on that team. This was a long time coming; their farm system was #1 or close to it for several years.

Ducks are overrated, can't beat the Hawks in a best of 7. Been saying that for two years.

Swap Vanek for zombie Heatley, top-10 pick in Dumba developing, and then continued maturation of granlund, Borodin and coyle. Plus that haula kid looks to be a motherfucker for years to come.

Scorehead/CH: agree with uniform weirdness. The green ones are so clean and pretty they need to be their 1st and make an away white version.

Detroit got out of the Central at the right damn time. Elite Hawks and Blues, talent-loaded Wild and Avs, Stars putting it together, and even the Predators might put it back together with a coach who lets hockey players play hockey. God the Winnipeg Jets are so fucked.
