Wow, not to go all CH but if Kane played like that all game never would go to overtime.

Now if I was Rocky Wirtz I would either close A person with the combination of Kane And Toews or just have Capt serious continually impregnate the Kane sisters

I don't think I want to catch a hot Quick if LA wins.

How are the Pittsburgh papers treating the latest Crosby failure Mike?

Pretty suicidal here. I haven't read papers but caught one writer off a link and the local sports radio on the way in. General consensus seems to be and one writer says he has a source that GM and Coach gone. They are a mess. Never managed the team properly and the coach plays to get Sid points and regular season wins. No changes for hockey nor defense. Letang is one way at best. The other issue si they traded all their pics and young guys for rentals every year and came up empty.

The funniest part and I have NEVER heard this here was a radio host and a caller bemoaning all the success and playoff stats of Toews and Kane and out solid 4 deep defense. They said we need a team like that. I win!

Shero has done a good job fleecing people in trades, but has proven unable to build depth through the draft. Bylsma doesn't do anything well. The Penguins have been upset five years in a row now.

Bylsma has got to be in trouble, right?

I tuned in a minute or two ago and they were giving the coach shit for not managing the players' emotions, and the next sentences were talking about how it's nearly impossible to be a superstar in the NHL ....

Cause he's Patrick Sharp, the worst good hockey player in the NHL.

No it doesn't, its a great rule. You really want to see it go back to the old days when people could just lob the puck over the glass anytime they got in trouble? Yea, that would really do wonders for the game.

Rick Nash isn't a good hockey player.

Doesn't sound like my old high school defense partner and current Pens assistant coach Todd Reirdon is going to survive the purge. He's good buddies with Byslma and he was last in the handshake line last night.

Apparently since they let that bum on the team.

Or am I supposed to agree he's good cause some idiot picked him for the team over Giroux, St. Louis, Seguin, Hall and probably 50 other players who are better than Nash?

No, he's a bad hockey player who looks good in skills competitions and warm ups and has made a career out of the occasional highlight reel goal while playing for a bottom feeder.

just because he's overrated and was picked by Team Canada doesn't make him a good hockey player. I can think of at least 50 players I would've picked for Team Canada ahead of him and that is not an exaggeration. Sharp, on the other hand, is in the class of good hockey players, he just happens to be the worst player in that class.

Off the top of my head, players I would've taken over Nash for Team Canada...

Bonino
Iginla
Lucic
Marchand
Staal
Skinner
O'Reily
MacKinnon
Seguin
Hall
Eberle
Perron
Nugent-Hopkins
Desharnaiis

Yeah, I said that. And he will. And you're somewhat right. Truth is, they're the yin and yang of this team. They're like children for me: I can't really choose one of the other. 8 wins, 4 gwg's for Toews, 3 for Kane. It's incredible, really. We're spoiled beyond belief as fans with these guys. I'd bet a lot that they both retire Hawks and have their numbers retired.

People on Pittsburgh radio were discussing a Toronto poll today. Toews 63% over anybody else as best/what they prefer. Pitt people are actually throwing Crosby under their bus they are so disappointed.

Not the jumbotron. I'm pretty sure someone in the stands is showing them squeaky toy. At least that's how I elicit that exact same head tilt from my dog.

I heard a little bit of Pittsburgh sports talk & they were complaining that Saad got away & that the Pens stars don't show up in big games like Kane & Toews do. Damn its fun being a Blackhawks fan.

Bylsma must be fired. Pitt needs a fresh start & new approach.
