on one hand, this is totally a stupid reaction to a story that has already been drenched in overreaction to the point of nausea. on the other hand. if he were to actually do it, i'd applaud him. if he really feels that strongly against racism than great. its a hell of alot more than the clippers players and Doc Rivers did when they signed on the dotted line to play for a guy everyone already knew was a racist. but are now outraged that his racism was made public like they didn't know.

I believe LeBron has been the most outspoken player and if he felt that way we would have heard it from him. He's said he expects the it to get held up in litigation for a while. That doesn't sound like someone who is going to sit out for the year.

I agree with your last sentence, but I don't see how the divorce affects the sale.

Has there been a determination whether Silver has the 75% majority he needs? I think several owners would look at it as bad precedent...i.e., an illegal wiretap can be used to take away your property. I think you would see an increase in the surveillance of owners by people looking to find dirt.
