A Who Do You Love 3-pack

Washington+3.5 vs Ohio State- I actually think Washington wins this game outright, Ohio State still hasn't found their offense, Washington ended Boise State winning streak and Ohio State has a long regualar winning season streak, it ends Saturday, so I love the Huskies.

Arkansas +3 vs Alabama- I am a big fan of Darren McFadden and I think he improves his heisman status with a big game in a national showing, so I love the Raziorbacks.

Boston College +6.5 vs Georgia Tech- Georgia Tech has a great defense, but Boston College is playing great right now, but the Eagles bring in a quarterback Matt Ryan who could be first round draft pick and leads the Eagles into a big ACC matchup to help the Eagles upset or at least keep it close. I love the Eagles.

Arkansas +3
McFadden will run wild. Should be a easy winner for Arkansas, should win outright.

USC -9 1/2
Tough road game, but their improved D should slow the Huskers down, allowing the Offense to take over and put up numbers.

It's time to join the fun.
Lines from The Greek 9/14

Cinci -6.5
Browns have no QB, no WR's & no offensive line. The Bengals were able to move the ball on the Ravens and should have little if any trouble with the Browns. Brady Quinn era starts Sunday

Cowboys -3.5
The Cowboys D played down to the competition last week and their offense looked unstoppable. The aging Fins defense and especially the average secondary will not have answers for all the Boys offensive weapons. Cowboys win this one by 7+.

New England -3.5
Pats / SD Under 46
It's time for the "us vs. the world" cliche's to start flying. Patriots will come out to prove to the world that they can win without the sideline camera. Their defensive scheme should rattle Rivers and LT can't win by himself. The Chargers cross country travel doesn't help. Sloppy defensive game much like the Bears v. Chargers contest with the home team winning this one as well.
If you like playing teasers, this is your game.

Raiders +9.5

The Raiders defense didn’t show up in Week 1 which was a little surprising. They won’t repeat that same mistake this week. They come out and show their top 5 form from the beginning of the game and really get after Cutler. Culpepper will make everyone forget about Russell.

Raiders win 31-14

Once I heard Culpepper was probably starting this week I was waiting for this one. I think the Broncos win by 2 TDs, but who knows, couldnt be worse than McCown.

Im a bit worried about Cinci -6.5 actually. Im sticking with the pick, but usually its a bad sign if everybody is taking one team in a play, but that line just looks to easy. It could have been 6 points higher and nobody would have blinked.

Florida -7.5 vs Tennesee- I think Tennesee won't have a defense that can stay with the Gators. The Vols offense will score but not enough to keep up with the Gators, as the Gators pull away and make a big early statement.

Ohio St. -3 at Washington: Simply, Ohio St's defense is going to be the difference in this game. I look for a double digit Buckeye victory.

Week 3 Somebody's Got To Win

ND @ Michigan -9 (45)

Irish may score a TD this game on offense. Mich WR's go crazy. Take the under.

Irish 6 MIchigan 31

Tenn. @ Florida -7 1/2 (55 1/2)

Tebow will run throw and kick a TD in Norris style if he has to. Vols way overmatched. Pray for rain. Take the under.

Tenn. 17 Florida 30

USC @ Nebraska +9 1/2

Feelin' the love for the huskers so much, I'm wearing overalls. Don't trust Booty to put the game away early. Thatclose.

USC 24 Huskers 17

Pittsburgh -10
Pitt should countinue what they started last week. Look for Big Ben to have another solid game, and the Steeler D to limit Losman and Lynch.

Saints -3 1/2
Saints rebound from their horrible game on opening night, and put up big numbers against the aging Buc defense. Tampa is horrible offensively , even with a bad Saints d.

Bears -12
I'm not a Bears fan, but the Chiefs are bad defensively which should lead to a big day for Benson and Grossman. Chiefs offensively don't have much with Johnson still getting into playing shape. Should be a laugher by the 4th.

Bengals -6 1/2
Bengals should dominate. Palmer and the Johnson's should have huge days. Cleveland possibly going to Quinn sometime in the game should make this an easy winner.

Cincinnati -7 vs Clevelanad- I understand the thought of everybody on the Bengals could be a negative and the Bengals off a tough Monday night game, but this is a rivalry game for the Bengals and I don't think the Browns know what they want to do and after this game and maybe during it will add to the fuel of to play Brady Quinn.

Titnans +7 vs COlts- I know the Colts played well in the first game, but a starter on defense is out and Vince Young just finds a way to keep his team in games and pulls them out.

Saints -3.5 vs Buccanneers- The Buccanneers have gone back to the Uccanneers, and I think Drew Brees will play better and help out the people who started him at fantasy last week, also Buccanneers really got hit hard against the Seahawks, losing Cadillac and Garcia for awhile, so I like the Saints to dominate this one.

Lions -3 vs Vikings- I went back and forth ont this game, because the VIkings can play defense and run the ball, but I think Lions contain the VIkings offense cna Kitna leads the offense to a 2-0 start.

Chiefs +12 vs Bears- This is one where I will go the other way when somebody says one team. If Larry Johnson can run the ball good and the Bears struggled stopping this late in the season last year and have lost 2 guys on defense alrady, look out, one thing that could hurt is Rex does play his best football at home.

Chargers +3.5 vs Patriots- I think Brady and Moss show the nation on national t.v. they can work together, but I have heard nobody say Chargers, worries me a little and the Chargers would want revenge for last year's playoff loss.

Bengals -7 pretty much what everyone else said, bengals looked great last week I think the turnover capability of their defense and the Browns obvious weaknesses will turn this into a quick blowout Cincy 31 Cleveland 10

Colts -7 Not drinking the Vince Young koolaid, Colts defense looked great and will game plan to stop Young from scrambling, Jacksonville is way overrated, Tennessee will come back to earth today
Colts 38 Tennessee 14

Tampa Bay +4 I think this will be an ugly nail biter, Saints will play better than last week but Tampa Bay at home will hang in there
Saints 16 Bucs 13

Lions -3 Look for the rookie Calvin Johnson to explode today, Vikings pass defense is atrocious, look for the Lions to air it out and not even try and run, oh yeah Minnesota has the worst pass offense in NFL history
Lions 24 Vikings 17

Baltimore-Jets Under 33 these teams suck I just don't see either team scoring more than 14 pts, wouldn't touch the spread on this one with a ten foot pole

Kansas City +12 [b] I think the Bears will win but this is too many points with Mr. Unpredictable at QB Bears 21 Chiefs 13

[b] New England -3.5[b] This is when New England is at their best when things look pessimistic, two great teams this will be a fun one to watch!
New England 31 Chargers 21

Syracuse +12.5 against Illinois
I'm a big Illini fan but they haven't proved they can blow out a Division 1 team yet. I still hope Illinois wins the game though.

Virginia Tech -21 over Ohio
Danger game here. Either Va Tech will be licking their wounds from last week or taking their anger out against Ohio. I'm betting on the latter.

Notre Dame +8 against Michigan
Battle of the freshmen quarterbacks with the slight edge to Clausen. Too many points to give to ND but I'm hoping Michigan actually wins the game (so does Michael Hart).

UNLV +17 against Hawaii
Another danger game here. UNLV surprised many (including me) last week against Wisconsin. Was it a fluke? I'm going with the trend that when Hawaii travels to the US, take the points.

New Orleans -3.5 over Tampa Bay
The Saints have had plenty of time to stew over their loss to the Colts and prepare to face TB. Plus TB is a terrible team.

Carolina -6.5 over Houston
Safe pick as long as the spread stays below a td. Carolina's win last week was much more impressive than Houston's win.

Thank God I'm not taking my own advice   .

5-7 with one game today to go tonight; boy, that's the sort of week that'll grow hair on your balls in a hurry. I don't really know what that means, but there you have it.

3-1, and I am shocked that I was wrong about the Louisville game. I guess I should have known someone knew more than me since I thought that line was way out of line.

Purdue gave me a scare as they went up 38-0 and looked like an easy winning pick. They took the foot off of the gas and all of a sudden CMU caught fire and scores 22 straight. Purdue puts up a touchdown to barely cover.

FWIW from a guy who is 5-7 this week and a hair under .500 on the season... I love Washington tonight. This has been a wacky week, and I thinkthat's going to continue. Washington has it well within their capacity to shut down the Philly offense. Take the points and make up some of your losses. It's my "Shoe in of the week!"

The Eagles are definitely the better team, will be in contention for a playoff berth and coming off a loss on the road. The Skins won last week but will have a hard time winning 8 games. In the Eagles loss last week McNabb was not very impressive most likely due to still playing his way into shape after not playing most of last year. He completed only 15 of 33 for 184 yards with an interception. I look for him to play much better this week at home vs a Redskin defense that although improved is only slightly better than the weak defense they had last year. And Westbrook will play his normal game of 80-90 yards rushing and 40-50 yards passing. The Eagles defense only allowed the Packers 46 yards on the ground last week but lost due to giving up too many yards in the air. But Jason Campbell was only 12 of 21 last week for 222 yards with 2 INT's vs a bad Miami team. The Redskins may be inspired off last week's win but on paper this game shouldn't be close. But I don't see either offense being able to do much and the defenses dominating. My play is Eagles -7...Looking at a score of 24-10.

Eagles -7

I gave up wagering on Monday night games several years back, I think my winning % rivals that of Bob Ueckers lifetime batting avg. Good luck
