The rider was ridiculous. They went and bought all of this shit to have backstage and they never even came to the venue. The closest hotel was a Super 8 and they were having no part of that, so they had to put them up at some "nicer" place in Peoria.

I don't pretend to know what the contract was, but they got paid and didn't play. The room is one of the best sounding rooms I've even been too, the stage was set with top shelf musical equipment and all they had to do was play for whatever amount of time they wanted to. They could have been heroes...

The concert was originally planned as an outdoor event in Washington, but two weeks ago, after getting some complaints from residents, city officials pulled the permit. I would be interested in knowing what prompted these residents to complain so much that permits were pulled for a concert that would have benefited their own tornado-leveled town.
