I mistakenly assumed Geddy Lee would be in there somewhere (though he can't hit the banshee-wail level anymore).

any list of vocal range should not include John Lennon. Organizing it by "highest notes" shows Lennon on par with Steve Perry. That's ridiculous. Plant's highest sung songs are not even on the list. Where is Brian Johnson's "Shake a Leg"? He's right up there.

Everybody has a bad day.

He explained this performance on Kimmel I believe.

I have seen him live twice within the past two years, and he was very good.

That is still better than anyone else could do that song even there.

Agree, totally. Axl has never been totally consistent when it comes to live vocals, but he can still hit it. I've seen them live in the new mellenium and the band is pretty great as well.

Good to see this. Some people will never get over the Slashlessness and Dufflessness of Chinese Democracy, and that's too bad, because it's really damn good. It's not Appetite, just like Illusions weren't Appetite. It's very easy to see the progression from Appetite to Illusions, and Illusions to Chinese Democracy. I still think Illusions is light years ahead of anything they've ever released. If I took the time to make a list of my top 5 of all time, Illusions are right near the top of it.

As an aside, Duff actually played a handful of shows (5 or so) not too long ago while Stinson was tending to Replacements matters.
