I've hit 120 hrs in one week. The oilfield is a whole different ball game. Vacation every 6 wks is cool tho.

Neighbor of mine flies out to oil rigs in the gulf as a BP safety guy. He is gone for a while but then as you point out gets a lot of free time after.

Ha... that is actually how I got my wife to date me. She is 3 years older than me and told me she didn't date younger men. I told her that just meant she had been around the sun 3 more times than I had.
