I have sleep apnea. Pretty severe. I have the cpap but have a lot of problems with it so I only wear it thru the night about half the time.


So I wake up around 2 or 3am a lot of nights and turn on the tv to fall back asleep.

So the other night I see that King Kong from the 70's is on. Man that thing was awful. A young Jeff Bridges was tolerable but the rest of it was just terrible. Its crazy how far the technology has come. Kong was just so obviously a guy in a suit in this version. And the government was hilariously evil, even by today's evil government standards

It was diagnosed when I was 20 and at my highest weight ever. (198) I lost about 30 lbs and have been between 165-180 ever since. The weight loss helps. Every little bit of fat you add makes it worse.

Ive heard some bad things about the surgery but that was years ago. Just waiting on a better solution.

I actually got used to it in my early 20's living in an old building that wasn't cable ready

I had it at my last place though and everything was fine. Then when I was moving Comcast said I owed them $180 from like 2001. Like all of a sudden they found this bill even though I had cable and was just moving the service.

The new place was a little more expensive so I figured Id wait a few months to get it back but they werent budging on the mystery $180 and neither am I.


Ive looked into Dish and Directv but I dont really miss it. The only thing essential about cable to me was the Cubs.

And well....that hasnt been an issue.


And my ilk is just "middle class single guy" No riches here.
