This pretty much sums up the rest of the series.

Blackhawks Kirkwood is now equivalent to Packer Kirkwood.

I kinda get that feeling as well. If it comes back here its not gonna be good for the Kings.

We've underestimated the Kings' depth. They've had Mike Richards on the fourth line. He's one of the most tenacious players in the game. He's not a poor man's Toews, maybe a middle-class man's. When you can have a gold-medal fourth-line center, you have a good team.

Sharks and Ducks did. Let's hold off on absolutes.

They gotta do something. Can't not play Rozival, Handzus, and Versteeg and expect everybody else to take up. The "core" is blowing ass all over the ice.

They're the deeper team for sure. Hard to roll 3 lines or more like 2.5 against 4 and expect to win. Kings are getting contribute from everyone , BHawks are getting it from maybe 7 players total. Again considering all that its amazing they've gotten it to a Game 6.

I just see a team that's blown 3 leads and gotten worked over in a 4th. A coach who's a stubborn prick insisting on playing his "trusted" dogshit players in Handzus, Versteeg and Bollig. And our horseshoe PK and goaltending has regressed to finally bite us in the ass. We scraped by last series and we're paying for it now.

And WTF has Sharp done. The cat has been utterly useless.

Edit: Bollig not bolland

I'm with you.

I am COMPLETELY pissed off by Q's refusal to bench Bolland.

I'm surprised by how well Sutter has integrated Toffoli and Pearson. Figure that Sutter/Lombardi is basically a mirror image of Quenneville/Bowman: a crusty old hockey lifer who reports to a progressive general manager. Yet somehow LA's rookies have thrived while ours have languished in Rockford or the doghouse. I don't think it's that they're necessarily better than our guys (personally, I think anyone whose first name is "Tanner" is automatically a pansy-ass bitch), but they're allowed to play and, yes, to make mistakes. Here, we let Bollig, Handzus, and Versteeg make mistakes, over and over and over again.

Also, I'm surprised that Toffoli can see the ice with such itsy-bitsy widdle eyes:

Sometimes when I'm anxious about something in the near future and I need to take my mind off of it I'll think of the names of the reporters on NPR and what those names were probably changed to by cruel classmates in grade school.

Though I will say the Committed Indian can go choke on chodes for their irrational Seabrook hate. For all his supposed faults having a defenseman capable of putting the puck on net instead of shin pads or wide is nice. What a concept.

Just heard Bob Cole call the winning goal for the CBC. He's so damn good.

Ok...I have 1 leg still on the Crawford bandwagon. He has Been shit for 3 games, but Cro was great in the 3rd period and both OT's. He needs to be more consistent.

What's remarkable is that Crawford and Quick's statistics generally run parallel in the long run, it's just that Quick gives up goals in dribs and drabs while Crawford wet-shits the bed for periods or games at a time and then goes lights-out.

Buy your tickets for game 7. Hawks win tonight 5-2. Hawks go up 3-0, Kings pull to 3-2 and then Toews refuses to allow a loss, goes beast mode and scores the 4th. 5th is an empty netter.

That's possibly Scotty Bowman as much as Stan. Bowman applied the same strategy of ride-a-core surrounded with somewhat seasoned free agents to multiple Stanley Cups with Pittsburgh/Detroit.

Ducks/Avs/Stars/Wings are doing the best job currently of incorporating young players while still being competitive in the playoffs. While Edmonton/Buffalo run with the Cubs strategy of playing young guys while sucking.

Buffalo is going to have a great leap forward, though, you can feel it. Edmonton, well, those fans are doing the lord's work selling out that shitshow.

This game kind of feels like a letdown only because the Hawks pulled out all the stops on Wednesday just to win in double overtime at home and still give up four. Could be like their Game 7 with Anaheim where it's over before it's begun, but I'm usually wrong on this stuff, which is good.

Again, win this for the bandwagon fans with flags outside their houses.

I would be optimistic about tonight if it was any other team than the goddamn Kings. These cocksuckers stared at 3-0 and 3-2 deficits, yawned and proceeded to ram and twist a fist up their opponents assholes.

Not to take anything away from what the Kings did but that was against one of the weakest willed underachieving organizations ever in the Shark. Anaheim was a bit more impressive but that was winning a game 6 at home and putting together 1 good road game to take game 7, something the Hawks need to do in reverse . Plus the Blackhawks have experience doing this twice in recent years (Vancouver, Detroit) so they don't have a history of rolling over when it gets tough . All that said I think they lose tonight . :(

5 hondo on the Kings -140. Yet I think the Hawks can win this one. I hope I lose.
