How can you be angry at a time like this?

Badrogue can get a hummer and still be mad about someone who cut him off in traffic earlier. It's part of his charm.

I'm glad I spent the entire day flying to Hawaii and checked my phone when I landed rather than stress out over dis. Reading this thread after the fact is quite entertaining. 8)

It is unreal how this Hawks team can fall behind so often in playoff series & find a way to come back & win them. How many times have they scored late goals to win big games? Speaking of big games...is there a player in the NHL who is better in big games than Patrick Kane? No.

Nope. Would you rather have Kane or Williams? Who is the better player?

I'm kinda glad I wasn't able to be on here last night while I watched the game, rereading the thread the following morning is pretty hilarious.

I'm not a good multi-tasker, so watching the game while on the internets doesn't work for me. Plus I, much like HG, had my nose on the television by the end of the game.

man i was out representing a rap show with someone who effectively trolled the audience so hard he got away with playing the same song twice in a row to start a set.... AND NOBODY NOTICED! well, except me but that's just how i roll......

this dude sharkula was basically doing some sort of a rap wesley willis thing.... and of course all of the hipsters ate it up and wanted to get to know the legend, so in the end alls i did was waste $23 on two beers and shots to say hi/respect to the dude. c'est la vie.

and then what was funny was the entire time i was out in bucktown/wicker-park/ukranian-village you'd encounter people proudly rocking their hawks sweaters, so i'd make it a point to ask them WHAT'S THE SCORE?!!?!?! and to my sheer and utter total non-amazement, not a single one of them had any fucking idea. or shit.... i should take this to the hawks bandwagon thread.... but still, i found it amusing that some of the people had to give me shit like "FUCK THE CANADIENS!!!!" (i was rocking an expos jersey last night) yet this lowly pseudo-canadian was the only guy who had the ability to pull up the game on his phone and watch it via streaming...... even tho you'd figure all these cats in hawks sweaters might have like, you know, some modicum of a clue of what the hawks were doing in an elimination game at that very moment.... but nope. i guess they couldn't be arsed to change their plans for a friday night out even tho they're such real/true fans they had to rock the sweater wherever they went. c'est la fucking vie.

now, as i told one of my hawks friends, you really really really have to win game 7. i mean, to come back from the dead to get this far and then go out like bitches? you'd much rather lose in 5 or 6. hopefully the kings can blow yet another game because at this point idk if i'm ready to say that these hawks don't show their ultimate championship-caliber mettle until their backs are against the wall, or if the kings are letting this one slip away and dribble down their leg because that old saying "any more than 3 shakes and it's jerking off" must have been programmed into them at a very impressionable age.

My "It's a Good Life" parody got lost somewhere on this board. I should have posted it in a B&B daily thread.

awww damn CH, do a google site:score670.com search (aka "the search function" =) and see if you can dig it up that way. or if you have any idea when you posted it, just do a "search for posts by this user" for yourself and go back through 100-300 pages of posts until you find it. RFDC notwithstanding, you're the hero that this board needs but technically doesn't deserve because your VORP (value over replacement poster, an antiquated measure of quantitative value that has been replaced by PWAR, or posting wins above replacement (posters)) is through the roof. i've seen no less than 3-4 people post that they're hockey ignoramuses who only know anything about anything because they go out of their way to read your hawks game threads because they're so damn good and informative with a side of much needed acerbic wit that provides the balancing levity requisite for a truly well balanced CSFMB experience.

but yeah, am i correct in assuming that this wild magical mystery tour of a series comes to a close on sunday? i wonder if it's during the day or if they're going to wait until sunday night so that they can get all of the baseball daygames out of the way and thus allow NBC to flirt with a 3 share in terms of THE BIGGEST HOCKEY RATINGS.... EVER!

It's pretty stunning the fall Mike Richards has taken the past 3-4 years. Just 5 years ago he was the face of the Philadelphia Flyers and the ideal captain everyone should aspire to be. He was leadership. Former 25-30 goal scorer with a nasty defensive game. Now the cat can't crack 15 goals in a season and is 2g 6a for the postseason with a -5. Crazy.

Brad Doty guaranteed that the Kings would win Game 7. Bold move.

The Kings have cracked. They had the mindset of don't let it get to Game 7. The Hawks took their foot off the gas in game 2. This series should have been over already. Playoff hero Bickell can step back in the spotlight and the scoresheet anytime he likes.

Rangers feel a lot like the 2012 Devils, who got through the most forgettable first-round series of the year (Devils-Panthers, Rangers-Flyers) and then just hung around while better teams dropped (Bruins and Penguins, Bruins and Penguins again) and finally got an easy match in the conference final (scoreless-wonder Torts Rangers, Habs without Carey Price). Both teams have great goalies, but teams who ride their goalies never ride them to the finish line (Irbe with the '02 Hurricanes, Giguere with the '03 Ducks, Kiprusoff with the '04 Flames, Roloson with the '06 Oilers, Brodeur with the 2012 Devils).

It'll be the most favorable matchup the Hawks have had yet, just as long as they win tonight, which I feel that they should at this point.
