Those Mackey words "Get rid of the Bear callers - we're talking Cubs til 6" combined with "I don't know if anybody's noticed, but we've unplugged the Unplugged Hour" - meant one thing to me: PUSH THE BUTTON! That's worse than Dan Patrick's diatribe on steroid use in MLB.

I guess the Critics at Extra Large got shelved too. Nice.

...and Jurko, I heard you sigh Good Kid when Mackey said get rid of the Bear callers. It may be the NFL season, but I guess the Cubs are more important. Your Cubs I may add....

We had to put up with this same BS Sox crap in '05. You didn't hear Cub fans crying about the coverage the Sox where getting. Sox fans are uptight aholes, who have nothing better to do then bash Cub fans and beat up old men coaching first base.

And I believe it's Bears fans that are complaining now...Sox fans don't wanna hear about the Sox either.

With all your love you've professed for the Brewers, I certainly hope to hear your insights into the awesome juggernaut that is the Brewers this afternoon.

Beef Rockmore -
Are you honestly going to bitch and moan about Cubs talk while we are in the last two weeks of a 162-game baseball season? You are a fucking idiot. This is actually a time to get excited about what a city's baseball team may do. I love the Bears like anyone else here, but you've got to expect talk about a baseball team in a playoff chase. When the Bears are in the NFC title game, I'll be waiting for you to bitch about the guys not talking about the Seattle Sonics vs. Bulls game for that night. Of course not. Get over it you biased bitch.

Class is over.

Send out an announcement when the Cubs achieve something. The last time they won the World Series I believe smoke signals were 'broadcasted' to announce it. 'The guys' will never be talking Sonics/Bulls, they loathe the NBA.

Jurko's on-air sigh said it all to me. Turning away customers to the last neighborhood corner tavern. At least they got parting gifts - so I give Mackey that much.

The Sox won the freakin World Series so I don't see how it's BS crap, most of their coverage was the media laughing at their collapse in September anyways.

I don't care about the coverage, it's a playoff race, but I laugh at the orgasm of the 'huge comeback!' against the terrible Reds. I watched a half inning of that game and the Reds brought in a reliever with a ERA over 8! Over 8 In the NL! Terrible, all these teams suck, so yeah, it seems lame when the local news says "Zambrano coming off the two best performances of the year". Wow the Pirates and Cardinals, way to go Z

No big deal - being turned away as a Bears fan, I simply closed out my tab at the last neighborhood corner tavern and sashayed at the 'tavern' down the street and got some insight from some cat named Hub. That's why there's chocolate, and that's why there's vanilla. I've just been doing that more lately, and prefer not to - but I can adapt to the new hours and 'rules'. I'll be fine.

Not everyone wants to hear all day Bears bullshit. Christ, 6 1/2 days of talk each week gets old. How many times do you want to hear if people think Rex should start? Or is Benson soft? Or what plays Harry thinks they should call? I guess everyday is ok with you.

This is more than enough for me, but maybe you can re read it and pretend it's new each and every day.

Way to generalize fuckstick. If the "cubbies" blow that pathetic division, you're the first douchebag I'll think of. Fuck you!

Mac rips on the Cubs for the Comcast thing and the field, and of course Harry throws in a reference to the Sox in a last place battle. If Mac does that last year he gets ripped to shreds, and all the 'worry about your own team' and 'you care more about our team' crap starts

Yeah, Cubs fans are sooooo classy. Never throwing garbage on the field or running onto the field.

waitaminit. They HAVE done that. My bad.

Each fan base has their share of moronic. So no, neither fanbase is "better" or "more classy" or "uptight a-holes."

Don't worry I'm sure Kenny Williams will try to find some way to get him in the WS pen.
