Well, this sucks. I had no idea the guy died last December. Pretty sad, he's been battling lung cancer for 4 years and was doing well and then all of the sudden he got sick and died a day later.


As for the show, I like it so far and they'll definitely miss Welch.

Don't know if anyone watched this, but this ended up being a great show. One of the better half hour shows on TV.

I watch it and enjoy it, but not sure about it being one of the better things on TV. If it wasnt in the Sunday night 8-10 HBO lineup, not sure I watch every episode.

I found the show entertaining. Wish the season was longer.

The 5 or 6 episodes, essentially is the modern day version of Revenge the Nerds.

I could totally see that. Its exactly like Revenge of the Nerds...except there's no battle between nerds and jocks, there's no main plot line involving trying to get laid and it's not set in a college. Other than that, just like Revenge of the Nerds.

-The main characters in both being self proclaimed Nerds, yeah I can see how you would miss that.
-Both have The Underdogs overcoming setbacks to achieve success via their Nerd talents
-Both have the group living situation
-Both have subplots of sexually frustrated guys who have never had sex
-Both have extremely smart main characters, who use their intelligence to WIN the situation.
-Both have the nerds v. "the cool kids" (Jocks or Huli)

Yeah, nothing similar between the 2 at all. You must be right.
