I can understand the cramping, but needing to be carried off the court like a cripple was just ridiculous. This is not soccer.

These two are going to be irrationally angry all day in defense of LBJ. It's hilarious

Now Terry is attacking the playing conditions and the NBA for allowing the game to take place!

...And Dan is attacking Toni Kukoc for his claim that the championship Bulls teams would have easily defeated the current Heat team.

Somehow Duncan and Manu's old asses made it through the game.

You mean the Heat that aren't even the favorites to win this championship?

Not surprisingly, Dan is deliberately misrepresenting the most relevant criticisms of LeBron.

People aren't saying that he didn't want to play; rather they are questioning his competitive spirit.

To wit: Karl Malone and Patrick Ewing wanted to play against the Bulls, but they simply didn't possess Jordan's indomitable will to win. Karl Malone said as much during the 1998 Finals.

"Will to win? These are professionals..they all WANT to WIN...don't be a DOPE!"

Dan Bernstein would say

Anyone call in yet and say hockey players wouldn't of sat like Lebron last night?

Of course he would--because he knows nothing about sports or life in general.

He is a neoliberal automaton.

Please  Can't wait for this call. So predictable, but B&B's collective heads certainly will explode.

The All-NBA First Team and All-Defensive Second Team forward asked to be reinserted into the game shortly after he left for the final time, only to have the idea rejected by coach Erik Spoelstra.
"I looked at him and said, 'Don't even think about it. You can't even move at this point,'" Spoelstra said.

Their point is last night had nothing to do with Lebron v. Jordan, so............................................let's read an article comparing the two.

"This has nothing to do with Jordan"
2 minutes later...
Here is a story of Jordan asking to leave the game, for a short bit.

Did Jordan miss the end of Game 4 in the 1997 Finals due to cramps? Or did he simply sit for part of the game? Would he have ever sat during the end of a Finals game where the outcome was in doubt? I have no problem with LeBron sitting for part of the game. His failure to re-enter strikes me as curious--to say the least.

I remember when Jordan had to be carried off the court in a championship game...after he sunk the winning basket while battling food poisoning from the Mormons.

I'm calling BS on him wanting to go back in, only to have Spo tell him no.
