Disagree. Obviously instead of focusing on conditioning LeBron has been too busy filming commercials and partying. Jordan managed to fulfill his sponsor obligations, have a cigar and scotch along with staying in peak condition. Don't go soft on us leash.

Are you questioning my passion!?

You shoved the dagger into his back. Don't back off twisting it.

I'm just being strategic. When the apologists come along and say we weren't fair, I can say "look, we gave him a chance to redeem himself. All he has to do is score 50, get a triple-double, and win by 20." I'm nothing if not reasonable.

This is why he ain't on Mt Rushmore. He was criticized all week as a bitch and his team is getting slapped around the first quarter, and he takes 4 shots. 4 shots! He should take the damn ball and shove it down their throats until they stop him. But it's not in his dna. I'm glad it's not because I want him and that douche Wade to get swept.

Lebron showed why he's the best NBA player on the planet tonight.

He needs to take over more. That's what separates the all time greats from him.

You're right. Lebron is much more multi dimensional.

Offensively he's more Scottie and Magic than Michael or Bird.

I esepcially liked when Manu broke him down, stepped back and LBJ fell down and grabbed his knee, had the griamce on his face, as if the only possible way he would have been broken down was because he hurt his knee.

Of course he got right back up and was fine.

This is the D Wade effect on LBJ.

I understand Lebron had some leg cramps and couldn't play. Havent had them in a long time and no doubt when your leg cramps up, it's over! but when the cramp is done, you dont have a limp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not saying he should have gone back into the game, because the odds of cramping up again are very high, but YOU DONT HAVE A LIMP FROM A CRAMP AS LBJ DID WALKING TO THE LOCKER ROOM

Unless he gets cramps again. (game 1) or chokes again (2011) or quits on his team (2010)

Well, I noticed it, so I guess that makes it NOTICEABLE. Once again, not questioning not playing. You just cant, it's overwhelming pain, but when it is over , it's over and they dont last very long either, but man they hurt!

The limping to the locker room, grimmacing (not ramblin'), felt like I was watching a 5th grader who got knocked down and it probably hurt when he got knocked down, but then keeps up the act either for the pity or showing me how tough he is.

While I'm sympathetic to those who bash LBJ because of those events, I think four finals appearances in a row pretty much displaced the narrative built upon those events.

I disagree.

Cant undo the horrible Dallas series and cant make people forget quitting. Ask Scott Pippen.

Exactly.

I know we don't like it, but it is what it is. He's better than everyone else. It's not even close. When he chooses to, he takes over. If game 2 was any indication, the Spurs are in trouble. If they are relying on cramps to slow him down and continue to refuse double teaming him, he will just destroy whomever is guarding him...

I know we don't like it, but it is what it is.

The quitting on his team is never going away. Ever. It will be mentioned in articles when he goes into the Hall of Fame.

I think you're wrong.

There is a lot of career left. A lot more titles and records to rack up.

I'm just being realistic. He will be one of the greatest ever when it's all said and done. His glaring negative moment will be "the decision". That probably won't go anywhere. But there is plenty of time for him to keep stacking wins to make people forget things...

I cant think of any athlete that has had a quitting moment and been forgiven. People dont forget that.

He's definitely one of the best ever. But so is Pete Rose. I predict he will be remembered as not living up to people's unrealistic expectations more than anything else

Lebron has more defining douchebag moments than just The Decision. The Decision is just the perfect encapsulation of the kind of person he is.

To be honest, if he doesn't go back to Cleveland this year or next year, I think that is his biggest douchebag moment. It's not because he left, but because he has spent all this time stringing them out again with answers to questions about if he is going back.

On the flipside, if Lebron did go to Cleveland, I'd probably root for him.

The Decision was a gaff, but it also raised $2 million for charities. People love to forget that.

He could have just had a charity event for Boys and Girls Club and raised just as much without making a fool of himself as he did.

In fact the charity part was clearly a built in shield for this terrible idea and that is kinda bullshit.
