Pearl Jam is touring, but will only be as close to Chicago as Milwaukee. Not that I care to hear some of the new stuff live.

A+

Fuck, I totally spaced on that show. To add insult to injury, the HOB was still running it on the marquee that I walked past three times yesterday.

My uncle's going to be there.

He doesn't really have much say in the matter.

Are they fighting each other to the death? That might not be too bad.

Man I just found out on Sunday Bob Mould was playing Chicago this Monday. I would have loved to see him again. I just saw the short version of the tribute show going to buy the full version. Got the autobiography from the Library,I will report on it.

Anyone go see Queen and Adam Lambert? My mom said they sounded good but started late and stopped early.

Went to the Old 97s on Saturday.

For those of you that are into country - the opener was a gal named Madison Grace. She was a little twangy/country for my tastes, but she definitely had singing/songwriting talent - I would not be surprised to hear her name more in the coming years.

Janelle Monae kicked ass as expected. an unfortunate, truncated festival set though

Rahm was like 3 rows up from me. with all his security detail
tried to get a video of him dancing, would have made a great gif
think he only stayed for 3 or 4 songs

Soundgarden and NIN show was great, more due to the NIN stage setup. Still amazed that Cornell has the vocal range he has.

Kick ass show.

Cornell still has the pipes and the band sounded great.

NIN was excellent. Good setlist.

How was Matt Chamberlain on drums? Insanely versatile drummer.
