Yup. The board is better without those 3 knuckleheads.

Kid Cairo was never going to actually talk shit about people in an open forum. That WAS his shot. Im sure that makes no difference to anyone, but that is my belief

Poor Peeps.

I hope he's been honing his posting skills during his self-imposed exile.

For the record, I don't believe it's self imposed. His password was changed. That's why I'm asking on behalf of his camp.

Big Fan's email address is readily available on this board. Have your people tell Peeps' people that Peeps should grow a pair and approach Big Fan face-to-face over the computer.

My sources indicate emails have been sent in the past but they have gone unanswered.

Whoops!

I guess that silence may be his answer.

I disagree that the board is better without Peeps and Kid, and to a much much much lesser extent KS. Like or it not, everybody brings something to this board and its never the same when somebody leaves regardless of how that exile comes about.

I thought it was OKC, Keeping Score, Drop In, and Terry's Peeps. Jackref is kind of the Pete Best of the MWSFMB.

Jackref left the board?

Did Drop In even post that much here? I think of him as a poster in the Krazy Ivan vein--the guy who impotently chastised people for criticizing B&B while not possessing the self-awareness to recognize that he was engaging in the same kind of activity he fulminated against.

I disagree with the multiculturalist logic of this post. Everybody may bring something to the table, but that something isn't necessarily good.

Unless you are one of the board members that Kid followed around to make antagonistic posts in response to numerous posts.
Internet tough guys are bad for any message board.

Drop in was a big Cubs poster so maybe not your cup of tea.

But yeah, he wasnt a heavy poster

The board is better without KS.

Maybe the original KS (2005-2007) was better but the one who posted most recently was pretty awful. And he posted sooo much. (I realize I post a lot. And some of you may feel the same way about me...I get that) that he was hard to ignore. I mean honestly the Taylor Swift stuff and the gay jokes were just awful.

Yeah, KS had definitely entered a period of serious decline. It was painful to watch for someone like me, since I was a big fan of his failed mult-hunting escapades. The guy was one of the board's funniest/most entertaining posters for a long time.

I laugh how pretty much everyone comment is "...besides Keeping Score...".

Maybe it was his son posting after he returned.

It would be like Tom Ricketts taking over a Joe Ricketts message board account

I'm not saying that 100% of Kid's or TP's posts were great, but some of them certainly were. At times everybody brings/brought some positive to this board.

If they come back and we start getting more Wisconsin sports talk radio threads I'm going to start my own board with Not Boilermaker Rick and ScoreKeeper.

If you're someone like Drop In, how dumb do you have to be to look over at guys like OKC, KS and Peeps, and say to yourself: "Yeah, that's a group of guys who would be really good at starting a message board. They embody the virtues of consistency, honesty and openness that are needed to make a venture like this succeed in the long run."

I mean, really, it's staggering to think about the radical miscalculation that was made here.
