I didn't know he was sick,that's too bad. Great hitter wasted in San Diego,as far as notoriety. I'm sure it's a great area to live for a millionaire athlete,though. Is Puckett dead? I forgot about him.

Not better than Gwynn. He hit .300 for 18 seasons and struck out 3 times in a game only once in his career.

Tony Gwynn's career, he had 1 3-strikeout game. There were 11 yesterday in the majors. 1 of those was a 4 K game, which Gwynn never did.
