Yup. The board is better without those 3 knuckleheads.
I disagree that the board is better without Peeps and Kid, and to a much much much lesser extent KS. Like or it not, everybody brings something to this board and its never the same when somebody leaves regardless of how that exile comes about.

I disagree with the multiculturalist logic of this post. Everybody may bring something to the table, but that something isn't necessarily good.
I'm not saying that 100% of Kid's or TP's posts were great, but some of them certainly were. At times everybody brings/brought some positive to this board.

I think the negative impact of some posters far outweighs their positive impact.

If you're someone like Drop In, how dumb do you have to be to look over at guys like OKC, KS and Peeps, and say to yourself: "Yeah, that's a group of guys who would be really good at starting a message board. They embody the virtues of consistency, honesty and openness that are needed to make a venture like this succeed in the long run."

I mean, really, it's staggering to think about the radical miscalculation that was made here.

I think DropIn likes B and B, Wrestling, and some TV shows as his posting topics.

Those guys would be the ones to go with for those topics

Not if you wanted to have a discussion with more than 1 or 2 other people. You don't really need a message board for that, anyway. The point, though, is that any degree of familiarity with that group of guys would inevitably lead a reasonable person to conclude that their startup project was destined for failure.

And Cairo was not, by the way, a fan of B&B. After several years of being the board's biggest apologist for the show's neoliberal aesthetic of humiliation, he suddenly reversed his position, attacking B&B along the same lines others had for close to a decade.

I think he was still a fan despite the criticisms but who cares.

I only responded to that point because I think it's funny how self-contradictory he was in every phase of his board existence. You're right, though, who cares? Let dead dogs lie, or something like that.

Poor RFDC

I tried to go in there but my knowledge is limited to the Hulkamania and Attitude eras. Nothing in between or after

Wrestling prior to the pervasive influence of Vince McMahon was so much better.

I dont know that world.

Its always weird to me when a guy like Greg Valentine or Rick Martel gets mentioned and people go on about how awesome he was as NWAOWWFCFC midwest territory champion

I loved the pre Mc Mahon era. It was probably due to testosterone fueled youth.

Still, there was something entirely different about a guy like Baron von Raschke and Dick the Bruiser and what they are producing today.

I think we also need to come up with some sort of punishment for Bucky Chris for continuing to communicate with Terry's Peeps. A banning may not be in order, but maybe just restrict his usage of this site on his iPhone?

Hey dolphin, I know you're not a Domestic Relations Division guy, but have you ever run across Tom Benno the wrestling attorney aka Apocalypto?
