Before the flight to AZ, this dude just starts hurling as we pull away from the gate. He is sitting one in front of me, he has the middle seat.

The girl to his right has her seat belt on and just shreeks when he pukes, and she is basically trapped with the seat belt.

The guy to Pukeboys left, next to the window, he is just fucked! ends up with puke on him.

The girl gets out of the seat and the flight attendants get on the mic "Please remain seated, we are taxiing to take off"

She wont sit down. Finally the attendants go to see what is wrong and by that time it really stinks.

One of the them gives the guy some of the cocktail napkins, which did little to help.

Now the plane stops and the attendants are talking to the pilot, who cant leave the cockpit due to FAA rules and the major choice is made....back to the gate! Pukeboy will be departing.

The 2 next to him got offered free flights and vouchers, they both took them and left.

Someone can find my twitter feed for the Hazmat lady pic that had to come on board and had to clean up! She looked like Nap dynomaites Aunt!

I was flying out of O'Hare two weeks ago and the guy next to me was fat. Okay, whatever; I've come to accept that I will always sit next to fat people. But he ordered food. Presented with numerous dining opportunities between his home and the airplane, he had to eat on the plane. And he ordered Ramen noodles. So he's just shoveling it into his mouth, elbowing me in the side every time he scoops, and on top of all that the cabin just reeks of cheap noodles. I got a reprieve from the elbowing when he had to get up to use the bathroom: twice. For most people, one moving bathroom is enough for a lifetime. He had two in one trip.

While I appreciate the disgust and annoyance factor, I have some sympathy for the DB. I can't imagine a worse scenario as the plane begins to taxi. These days it can be difficult to blow off a flight if you're feeling a bit queasy. Hoping to make it back home. Expected to attend a conference. Chew a few Tums and hope for the best....oops...

I was flying with the kids a couple years ago.

My (then) 4 year old barfs all over about 30 minutes out from O'Hare. The attendants came by and gave us air fresheners. No napkins, no towels.......nothing. Customer service isn't exactly their "thing" anymore.

A few years ago we were flying to Charleston SC and right as we boarded my daughter threw up all over my wife. It was horrible. Sick kid, smelly wife, unhappy people around us. I was never so happy to have a flight get over in my life.
