What is Travis Wood's contract status? I'm wondering if he stays on and ends up being the 3 or 4 pitcher when they win a World Series.

I'll be curious to see how the rotation evolves. I know Verlander hasn't won a World Series yet, but the Cubs are going to need a guy at that level. A Cain, Wainwright, Carpenter, etc. They had that rotation almost a decade ago. What amazes me is they were able to get a guy like Prior in the first round; yet, who have they picked in the past four years of futility as far as pitchers go?
