The Cubs have lost ground since I started this thread. They've fallen back to 7.5 games back in the wild card race. Splitting a 10 game road trip is alright as they've been awful on the road. Time to make a move with this 10 game home stand coming up. A sweep gets the Cubs back to .500.

Sucks that the Cubs have the 2nd worst record in 1-run games. They're -9 run differential indicates they're not as bad as they're record but those early bullpen hiccups and management mistakes by Renteria put the Cubs in a decent hole for the wild card.

between Barney and whomever catches,that's like 3 pitchers batting everygame.
