Is what? What exactly is he building on the Southside? Why is he comfortable with a manager that doesn't know how to manage? Does Don Cooper have more pull than Hahn? Why is he considered safe when the Sox staff leads the MLB in walks and is 27th in ERA and summer just started. How could he think depending on John Danks, Andre Rienzo, Erik Johnson, or Scott Carroll would be a good idea? The bullpen? Woof.

Does his vision totally disregard baseball IQ, basic fielding and baserunning competency? When does the Michigan Man start getting asked questions? Where's the accountability? The South Side is the smart baseball fan. How could they be so stupid to buy Hahn's bullshit?

I'm just a dumb Cubs fan blinded by Theo's plan so I'm probably too stupid to understand what Hahn's doing. Enlighten me SomeGuy. I want to be a smart baseball fan like South Siders.

How good would Alex Rios look in the outfield right now instead of the butcher duo of Viciedo and De Aza? The cat is hitting .319/.352/.462. Hahn received the outstanding Leury Garcia in exchange. Interesting move to say the least.

Avisail Garcia would look a lot better in the OF.

This stretch of poor Sox baseball has again debunked the theory of Cubs fans not caring about the Sox. When the Sox are doing well, Cubs fans don't see to care. As soon as the Sox start scuffling a little bit, or Hawk gets quiet, Cubs fans start caring an awful lot.

Nice Bernstein play. JORR, BRick, gd, and you are never short of opinions on the Cubs but when the Sox start playing like garbage it's "Why do you care?!?!?!?!"

Theo understandably gets shit on for not fielding a ML lineup. How about Hahn and his AAA rotation and pitching staff? Perhaps having an outfield that can actually run a route or catch might be a good idea? And let's not pretend Avi is an excellent defender either. He's competent where Viciedo is bottom 5 in the whole league.

For a Cubs fan, Kirkwood sure knows a hell of a lot about the White Sox...he sure talks a lot about White Sox business....

You say you don't care, Kirkwood, yet here you are.

Hahn hasn't done a very good job. There are still major flaws and the rebuild is behind schedule. Robin needs to be fired in the offseason.

So far, besides the Abreu decision, I'm not impressed.

He didn't rely on Rienzo or Carroll. Neither were on the team at the start of the season and both only pitched due to injury. They absolutely had to give Johnson his shot. Unfortunately, his velocity is way down, indicating an injury. Danks could pitch in just about any team's rotation and had been lights out for the better part of two months before yesterday.

His one glaring mistake, if you want to call it that, was not backing up Paulino with multiple veterans.

You can only hide guys like Rienzo and Noesi for so long. Maybe a team can live with one guy like that in the rotation for the year. Two sinks a team.

The Sox should have been sunk the day Garcia was hurt. If you look at the posts from that day, people were despondent. They lost a middle of the order batter on a thin team AND it moved Viciedo/De Aza from platoon to both being starters.

The Sox have had a remarkable run of injuries this year with Abreu, Eaton, Gillaspie, Beckham, Garcia, Jones, Lindstrom, Paulino and Johnson. That's 40%+ of the roster down for significant time in less than half a year. This created a situation where, when it was time to pad the record during a weak point in the schedule, they were playing lesser talents and battling just to stay .500.

Now, on the road and against stronger teams, it was highly forseeable that they would lose games.

Hahn's vision has been fantastic! They have young guys who look like cornerstones in place at several key positions. They have significant money coming off the books in the off season. They have a team with a great attitude.

They gave me my fun this year. I expect the rest to be a drag but the arrow is pointing way up for this team.

How so? The arrow is pointing up. This team lost 99 games last year, and odds are they are not going to come close to losing that many. They haven't played well over the last 3-4 weeks, but you never know what could happen. Even if they get mildly hot they might be 3 games out at the AS break. Anything can happen then.

They are closer than they were last year and during the last 2 years of Guillen's reign.

Kirkwood is coming off as sad and desperate here. Don't go down the same path.

Hmmmmmmm, sounds very similar to things said by a certain fandom that receives incessant ridicule.

Very very interesting how I'm hearing familiar phrases about this wreck. Once 23-year-old HoFer Avisail comes back next year to play his 1st full season of major league ball everything will be OK. The walks will cease, the ERA will plummet, baserunning mistakes will be eliminated and fielding will be top notch.

I thought Herm Shneider was the best there ever was?

if you can take a Noesi and make him appear to be a major league pitcher you should have a bust in cooperstown.
