So I've long thought that baby mac was a bit insane. I'm not positive that he's criminally insane per se but certainly the wheel is turning but the hamster is dead.
So I was thinking... baby might have split personality disorder. Rare I know but hear me out. So he is baby... and he is chas. Hell the real person might not be either one either, of course. See baby hates himself and who he is but he cannot face that self loathing so everything he hates about himself he's channeled into this separate personality... chas. Neither is aware of the others existence. See, there's these Scorsese type clues right, baby and chas making claims of each other taking up space in the others head? It's a clue! Subliminally, they are aware of it too, and they allude to it.
Anyway that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
