I see a guy like William Devane (President GoBoom) and often wonder why he is just a TV star.
Who makes the decisions that one guy like Tommy Lee Jones makes movies and another (like Devane) stays on TV.

I just discovered tonight that President Heller played Kelly Leak's Dad in Bad News Bears.

When he was standing midfield at Wembly, he should have let out a Let Them Play! before getting droned.

some of the "true believers" think that it's a sign that chloe hacked the video feed (think about the clip in the promo for next week of lady droneheart's kid saying "they can see everything we see!") and that she hacked their screens to make it look like they done blew up the president. obviously the rest of the cabinet/world would have to think he's dead so she lives up to her word and junks all the drones (....yeah right) --- therefore the lack of a silent clock is a wink wink nudge nudge to the viewers that prez heller very well might just be alive.

anyways, beyond that i'm willing to bet that one of the !!!!!!SWERVE!!!!!!!s this season is that eventually droneheart will either live up to her word and/or be subdued and it'll seem like the day will be saved, but then chloe's obviously-so-not-evil boss dude will somehow get control of the drones and end up being the eventual-final-boss.

time will tell.... and yeah i also want to mirror the sentiments of those in this thread who say that the season has been really nice by tossing out there that it just feels right when 24 is on tv, no matter how predictably cheesy and formulaic it might be at this point in its long and now reanimated run.

i'd love to see what they could pull out of their ass for a movie, personally.

I've only watched the first two hours of the season so far, but I wasn't impressed. Homeland covers this ground so much more convincingly.
