Garza was traded to the Rangers. They got 2 months of him. That's the point. Now they have nothing and they gave up 4 prospects. Obviously the Rangers lost the deal.

The Rangers made the playoffs which was the whole point of the trade...and for what? The throw in now looks like the best player of that amazing group. I don't think that Rangers GM is quite losing the sleep he was in spring training

The point of the trade was winning the World Series but they most certainly did NOT make the playoffs. And the main part of the deal, C. J. Edwards is still the main guy.

I applaud the subdivision for excellent execution in this thread. Time and time again we see threads shift away from examining their own pile of shit onto the North side version.

When you hear there is no obsession this thread is example numero uno it exists.

In a quick scan of threads, Dolphin seems to have posted about nothing but the Cubs for his last few hundred posts.
