The intention was to get some Sox discussion going. Similar to how the subdivision incessantly whines about the media focus on the Cubs the majority of CSFMB's baseball discussion focuses on the Cubs.

I believe this thread perfectly encapsulates that in Chicago there are only two groups of baseball fans:
1. Cubs fans
2. Anti-Cubs fans.

And to answer your loaded question, when rebuilding and purposely losing (as you've pointed out roughly 800 times) guys who are signed with the idea of a trade are incredibly impactful. So he's been good in that respect.
