I hear you. I don't plan on going to any more games in the next month or so as I'm waiting on an itty bit of roster turnover. Hoping maybe at the minimum I can see a guy like Hendricks pitch and maybe two prospect types. It is possible Soler could make a September appearance, as well as Alcantara and Baez?

For now, Alcantara playing is enough to get me to tune in.

If you cannot enjoy a game on a July or August day just for the fact that it is baseball on a nice summer day, then you don't really like baseball.

Complete fabrication. Samardzija was really good in relief the year before and people were on board with him starting.


Barry met one guy at a hockey rink that said "Im not sure he cans start" and here we are.

I thought the plan all along was to get him enough arm stamina to be a starter. I don't ever remember hearing that he was not considered a starter.
