I was at a swim meet this weekend and even a modest community like Morton has multiple athletic fields and a huge indoor facility. It really opens your eyes when you see how much more you get for your taxes.

How is freedom limited every other weekend? You have a vacation house?

My newly married daughter moves to downtown on Saturday. Frickin' dumb move but they don't listen to me. She says they want to enjoy what the city has to offer. She says Arlington Heights is boring. I tell her that I'm grateful for every boring day. What are these young yuppies looking for in the city? A frickin' Car chase??

Ice rink availability and muggings are a big problem in the city I'm told.

I like the city but I'm not rich enough to raise kids there. I dont have enough money for them in the suburbs either for that matter.
