Anybody catch this one? It's a remake of a 2003 South Korean film of the same name. This one is directed by Spike Lee.

Josh Brolin in the lead role. Also has Sam Jackson and Michael Impirioli(sp).

Strange stuff. Enough to keep you interested for a while. Really takes an odd turn at the end. Plenty of violence, if ya dig that sort of thing.

Currently on Netflix. I don't even remeber the theatrical release, but I read it bombed big time. Spike Lee's lowest grossing film or something.

Unnecessary remake. The original idea is fucking twisted though.

Right? That has to be one of the most fucked up movies I've seen in the last few years.

And from everything I hear, this is just a more Americanized version. Didn't feel like reading subtitles yesterday, so I went with Spike's version...

Yeah, I actually never saw it. I read about it when it came out and the consensus was that it was just kind of pointless

Yeah, but that twist is fucking crazy. Makes the Kaiser Soze moment look like a sitcom

Watched it last night.
All I can say is this:
The hallway fight was awesome.
Josh Brolin was good.
And Elizabeth Olsen is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY hotter than her troll-twin big sisters.
Nice rack.

If you saw it, rpb, I think you'd be able to see it coming. IMO the Kaiser Soze moment was more of a surprise.

Holy shit, my sister and I used to call them the "troll twins" back in the Full House days.
