my favorite is when they give your ID the bouncer stare. like...hey do you want the ultraviolet light to go with that while you scan that date over and over? i'm over 21 for god's sake! punch the keys!

Agreed. Its not the cashier's fault, its the store's fault.

Stores should absolutely have one line for for all alcohol purchases. Sure I might just have a 12 pack and the person in front of me has a cart load of groceries, but by the time the teen in the express lane calls "21" and somebody comes over to scan it, its almost the same amount of time for me just to wait in a regular line with an adult cashier.
