Every time he does this "Hockey fans are racist" thing and pretends to be outraged at racism I always think about Kid Cairo's (Moment of silence for him...thank you) story about Dan playing basketball with black people and then telling his white friends that "All these guys are gonna end up in jail". Sure as hell sounds like something a hockey fan would say, doesn't it?

I also think of Dan's "Code word" of Wang-Whipper for black people.

Terry's concerned about when hockey will ever get the big money. Someone should tell him they got it eight months ago and that it's precisely why the Hawks were just able to drop $168MM on two guys.

Yeah, NHL cap is $68MM and rising, NBA is about 63, but bear in mind that the NHL cap accounts for signing 20 to 23 players while the NBA accounts for 12 to 15, and the NBA cap is full of luxury taxes and exceptions while the NHL cap is very hard to exceed without number-fudging that's since been disallowed.

Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too is one of my favorite albums of all time and Gregg Alexander is a terrific songwriter even outside his New Radicals work. They were as serious as a heart attack.
