No. Reid has to vote no on it so that the bill can be brought back at a later date if he wants. Senate rules.

Ok well then.... showing our group level of knowledge on Senate rules. Reid has to vote no on cloture otherwise it can't be brought back

Cmon. Pick a different article. I paste from the first paragraph that it wasn't a rules thing but a vote:

Jesus mike... I'm pretty sure advocates of the bill did blame the 5 Ds IN ADDITION TO 40 or so Republicans. If you're blaming based on party, there would clearly be much more blame for the Rs. Take the blinders off.

I can't see the U.S. doing anything to Russia directly. I haven't been following along, so if they are already helping the Ukrainian government in some way through a backdoor, perhaps that will continue.

No... I don't think so. I don't believe that the President of the Unites States should have any planning interrupted by any ass with a plane or bomb or whatever.
In other words, POTUS shouldn't have to answer to any jerk with a missile. He's the fucking POTUS.

I am not blaming anyone but clouding this otherwise ok thread was a pain and 90% number in favor of gun control s of the dear leader was preposterous.
