I love Stallone, he was overlooked for his role in Cobra.

Both

Copland was a good movie and he was good

Oscar was a fun bad movie and he was essential to the fun badness

The culprit? You guessed it. Frank Stallone.

His greatest role was in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.

Copland was great. It was basically just Rocky as a Cop but it worked. Star studded cast

Oscar is funny

It's supposed to be ridiculous. (I thought)

I don't believe I've ever gone into a Stallone film looking for too much...

When you're looking to remake French cinema, the name 'Stallone' leaps immediately to mind. As in, 'for God's sake, don't cast Sylvester Stallone!'

Bad idea badly executed.

This is why Stallone gave up on comedy.

Only occasionally flirts with the breathless lunacy of well-conceived farce - and there are huge, painful gaps in between the few worthwhile gags.

The charm of this film lay in the talents of the supporting characters.

Hey...he's the Italian Stallion. The movie started out relly boring...but then the plot started getting complicated...and that was fun...the movie has a couple of fun jokes but it barey qualifies as a comedy...still fun though

Blasphemy. Everyone knows Rocky IV was the greatest movie ever made and that Rocky was responsible for the end of communism and the Cold War.

Sly is the greatest actor of our generation, if not all time. He's like a piece of iron.

Not nearly as good as Clue, imo. But it felt like that was what they were shooting for.

Fast moving (at times). Funny misunderstandings. Tim Curry. Mostly takes place in the same house...

Tim Curry was in it. It's a bit of a Caper. The identical money bags is very Clue-ish.

Didn't hear about this until I saw it here. I have no problem w/ this.

People would be up in arms if it were someone somebody liked or a politician. Other than that, nobody's going to care.

The best fun bad Stallone movie is Tango & Cash, with Demolition Man a close second. Over the Top is also terribly awesome. Copland is okay but I think it suffers from its cast. Like too many big names that don't get enough to do. The plot was weak and went towards the ludicrous at the end. But it's likely Sly's best "acting" role after Rocky and First Blood. And we get the classic line from DeNiro: "YOU BLEWWWWW IT!"

I'm stunned that there are people on this board that liked "Clue".

the problem with stallone sometimes is that he takes himself so seriously that you can't enjoy the movie because it gets so heavyhanded or he's just too dry. but those are all good examples...i think "rambo" was pretty fun bad too even though again it got a bit heavy...that's kind of what weighed down the first "expendables" but the second one was way better.

I thought the last Rocky and the last Rambo he did were both pretty good movies.
