Thank God the guy from Dwight called in to clear it up. I was on the edge of my seat wondering about this.

I didn't know Elba was British either until I started watching Luther.

That took some adjustment. It took about 3 episodes before I stopped giggling that Stringer was talking like a Brit.

How much Idris Elba is in the series?

There's never enough Idris Elba but he's in a bunch.

Also, he gave one of my favorite deliveries of any line in any show ever -

"Is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy?"

The meetings are awesome

I love the dude who says he's gonna be all over the rivals like a 40-degree day

A metric assload

Id say he's one of the top 5 most shown characters....and he's fucking awesome

And I didnt even know he was British

Watch Luther. You're welcome...

I know of it, but Im not ready to watch him be something other than Stringer Bell. Too good for his own good.

I think Ill watch that eventually though

I like his 40 degree day speech better.

Edit: Damn you RPB. That part is funny as hell though.

Guys, I believe this should be in the "BOERS and BERNSTEIN (BB)" section of the Chicago Sports Fan Message Board. Dan Bernstien and Terry Boers host the afternoon drive show on Chicago's Sportsradio 670 THE SCORE AM on Monday through Friday, from 1:15pm, after the daily crosstalk at 1pm with the "MCNEIL AND SPEIGEL SHOW", until 6pm, unless they are preempted by Chris Rongey and the 'Comcast Infinity White Sox Pregame Show'. Let's try to keep the sections straight here.

Maybe I saw the alternate ending where Luther was working undercover as Stringer and he starts spouting off in a thick British accent while Avon gives him his "what the fuck" face.

Is that what you got from the ending? I think it's pretty vague since Snot Boogie is just riding away with a limp arm on a horse and then the screen suddenly goes black and starts playing Baby Blue by Badfinger.

I thought Terry had a better one with "a pile of man-goo and tears", which I assume refers to Richard Simmons.
