I don't own a gun nor a permit to conceal and carry but if I did your stupid fucking door sticker wouldn't stop me from entering your establishment anyway. Especially if you know , my fucking gun were concealed. It's a nice bat signal to potential robbers as well to know you don't allow guns in your place of business too. Excepting the ones they'd bring in to rob you . Dumbfucks.

I owned a grocery store in Park Ridge with some partners. In the gift shop section of the store the previous owners had posted signs that said, "SHOPLIFTERS WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!" And there wasn't just one. They were all over the place. One of the first things I did was take those signs down. One of my dumbass partners objected. I explained to him that as a customer those signs make me feel as if I'm being attacked even though I have no intention of stealing anything. And anyone who is an actual shoplifter isn't going to be dissuaded by such signs. We're all aware there are penalties for shoplifting. And for shooting someone.

the point of the signs is to inform law abiding citizens of where they can bring in guns and where they cannot. what would be the alternative? use google search before you enter every store to find out if they allow c&c or not?
