Considering buying tickets for Friday night after show at House of Blues with Vance Joy opening up for
The Head and The Heart. I have not seen a show at HOB, are there seats to avoid? I wanted to get
floor seats but if I go with the balcony are there bad seats up there?

The HOB is General Admission, but there are a small number of "seats" available in the venue, you just need to be in there very early to nab one. There's a row of seats along each side of the main floor next to both bars that give you a pretty nice view of the stage, and there's also some seats in the back of the venue where you can't see anything. The ones up front go very fast, so get there early if you want one.

Glad I asked. The seating chart online makes it seem like there are multiple balconies and such.
Still on the fence but it would be a pretty good show for people who like Folk, Americana music.

There are some other balconies, but I don't think they are GA. I think most of the stuff upstairs is reserved for VIPs.

I was looking at StubHub. I've seen these guys 3 times already including a show in April so it may not be
worth it money wise. I might use the money to get tickets to the Wisconsin vs Nebraska game at Camp
Randall instead. Is the HOB a decent venue to see a show?

Edit: I noticed pretty large # of lolla 3-day passes still on the market. Not interested in going but appears like a lot people misread the demand. Did they do tiered pricing like they use to?

yeah i think this was an instance where a lot of people had buyers remorse purchasing tickets before a lineup was announced....
i think all of the headliners except for Outkast has played Lolla in the last 5 years
i would also guess that a large % of those passes on CL are a scam

anyways , agreed with B-17 that i wouldn't go anywhere near there

Chvrches was a fun concert. They probably practiced their lolla set as they played 1:15ish. Sound mix was pretty bad as the music was much higher than vocals. Couldn't even really make out them talking between songs. But they aren't popular for the strength of their lyrics so whatever.

Openers Panama were pretty solid. Never heard of them before. They played nice chill music to talk before the big guys came on.

I really want to see Eminem. Ive missed several chances.
