I'm a little sad that this guy may in fact be sick, and I am not entirely proud of cancelling the contract but at this point, I did not see a viable alternative. The customer service and communication was quite poor. The BBB complain board seems to strongly echo very similar complaints. When I heard that the warranty service was poor, and the communication poor, it seemed to be my only choice.

I went and got my permit for mine to get done, it takes 2 business days apparently. I asked if the neighbors had gotten a permit (the contractor was to have gotten permits) and they have not gotten an application for either of the three other addresses.
