17 million a year for 5 years for a 29 yr old 10 games under .500 pitcher isn't fair market value ? Again if you say you really want to stay somewhere you would make a concession to what perceive to be your value to make it happen. Obviously he didn't reallywant to stay here. 3-3 with an ERA of 4.07 now in 9 starts. If Addison Russell turns out to be a Barry Larkin type player-the deal may go down as one of the best in recent history for the Cubs. Of course the Arrietta and Strop for Feldman deal is looking pretty great right now!
