I used to work with a lady who claimed to have taught Home Economics at Purdue. Her spelling was unbelievably bad (3rd to 4th grade level at best) and my boss tore his hair out trying to teach her the necessary computer basics. Makes you wonder.

My own dad was a Purdue grad so I can't really say too much in the way of negatives.

As far as football, Rutgers and MD could be a lot worse. Obviously they'll be lower-tier teams in the near future, but when you consider that Michigan holds a 2-6 record over its last 8 games, you have to scratch your head somewhat when considering football in that conf...!
