hey remember when right as the season started i said the cubs should go get corey dickerson? he didn't play last night, but a perfunctory look at his stats doesn't exactly hurt my cause, granted the rockies were juicing the shit out of the ball @ coors right out of the gate this year to the extent that they even reanimated the corpse of justin morneau to man the todd helton memorial.

oh and who had july 20th in the tulo injury/DL pool?

Went to the game last night. A bunch of Cub wives/girlfriends were sitting right by us. Grimm's girlfriend is a hot little blonde. Some old guy was getting at her. He claimed his father-in-law had pitched 18 seasons for the Cubs. I asked him if his father-in-law was Mordecai Brown.

I had to sneak out of Finley Dunne's before one of the goofs I was with ordered another round of Malort or Fireball. As I was walking out the door, one guy yelled at me, "This is the life we've chosen."
