Yep.

And I'm waiting for him to slip up and call Rose a "boy". Maybe he can make Deadspin again.

Wrong, wrong, 100 percent wrong. Derrick Rose has a contract to play basketball for the Chicago Bulls. He got hurt doing exactly that. He doesn't have a contract to go to dinner with Carmelo Anthony. He doesn't have a contract to shine Jerry Reinsdorf's shoes.

Sort of like how Dan and Terry are not obligated to attend or stay at any Score event, which is exactly what they do. Didn't Mac lay into Terry for leaving Doug's roast early? Dan didn't even go, right?

Bernsie was there.

Oh. Thanks. I remember him saying he's not obligated to attend something before. Thought it was Doug's roast.

I enjoyed tranny today.

Meat standing firm with Bernsie and Bernsie acting as if he never heard the phrase sack up

Then the laughs at everyone has idiotic drunken brothers and terry chimed in with NW Indiana is full of em.

What was really crazy is right at that exact moment I was driving in NW Indiana to go visit my idiotic drunken brother

If Mitch asked Terry and dan to go to dinner with Murph and convince him to take Mac's place, do you think they would be "team players"?

Great point . Someone who isn't blocked needs to tweet that to him, wonder what his response would be

not a bad comparison when you think about it..... mac wants more money too... he has no other options other than holding out and has no leverage (just like lynch)... the only difference being the score cant fine mac during this negotiation because there is no existing contract

Bernstein in the same transition segment chided Spiegel for doing the live stream MLB Trade Almost Deadline show on his own yesterday without being paid for it. #WYC

I read on the board yesterday than Dan was giddily taking credit for everything Cowley wrote, saying he's been talking about it for months. Doesn't that mean that Chairman Reinsdorf is really "deeply disappointed" in Dan Bernstein for spreading pernicious myths and "totally inaccurate statements and assumptions to foment nonexistent friction."?

I heard Danny jump on Rose for playing "GM" in recruiting Gasol harder than Melo. He said it's not for him to play general manager. Doesn't Danny say that you haven't arrived as a star in the NBA until you get your first coach fired? WYC?

How do you know what his contract says?

Do you really think there is a Recruitment/Carmelo Dinner clause or are you just being argumentive?

Your argument is really silly considering Rose is the "star" of the team. I imagine they aren't required to go to hospitals to spend time with people that are sick or read books at school but most players do it. As the "star" player and leader of the team he should be willing to do whatever it takes to win. All star players recruit. You even had James Harden go out of his way to recruit a player to Houston that was going to take his spot as the best player on the team. Why? Because he wants to win a championship.

Except when Meat picks the wrong fight. His whole issue during tranny was that he was "done" discussing the whole D. Rose thing, and didn't want to hear about it any more, and just get to the season - except that he and Schu spent a good chunk of the show discussing the D. Rose/Cowley column and having Cowley on the show

Todays "Daredevil or dumbass" segment might be the best segment that I have heard on The Score in a long long time. It was outstanding...& it had nothing to do with B&B...the callers were great.

Yeah, getting rid of Friday Fung as a weekly segment to make room for Gerry DiNardo, Cubs postgame reactions, and more Bears shit was an awful decision. It's always been my favorite part of the show.
